The sixty-fourth verse of the second chapter of the Gita gives us some insight into how to be happy. It states that the seeker should exercise control over the thoughts that arise in their minds while their sensory organs perform their functions. That was the simplest way I could have said it. And that, as far as I know, is the deepest secret to happiness. However, finding this is difficult and requires practice. Most people are unable to master this skill.
